Our Can-Can Ministry began in 2024 as a simple, joyful way for our parish community to care for God’s creation while supporting the needs of our parish. Volunteers assist with sorting, boxing, and redeeming deposit bottles and cans generously donated by parishioners through our Can-Can collection campaign.

Inspired by Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ and its call to protect our common home, this ministry helps keep our environment clean and reminds us that even small acts of stewardship make a meaningful difference. Every redeemed nickel is added directly to our Roof Loan Repayment account, turning everyday recyclables into a blessing for our parish family.

All are welcome to join us in this hands-on, hope-filled effort — a ministry where care for creation, community spirit, and practical support come together in a beautiful way.
